St.Tropez - Self Tan Bronzing Gel

The Christmas parties are going to be starting up soon, and as I am fair skinned I like to fake tan. I treated myself to St.Tropez - Self Tan Bronzing Gel, which cost me £18.00 from my local salon. I had never tried St.Tropez before but was excited to try it out because of the great reviews I had heard!

Firstly this fake tan gel is very natural looking. I applied the gel with a fake tan glove and found that it applied evenly with no blotches or streaks. There is a slight smell with this gel but it is not unpleasant.The colour is not at all orangery but very sun kissed. It is easy to apply and overall is gives me a natural looking colour! One application of this tan lasted me around 3 days and then it started to wear off. I would repurchase this product and give it a 9/10.

Garnier Ultimate Beauty Oil

As there has been a change in weather, there has been an obvious change in my skin over the last couple of months. My skin went very dry and flaky. I wanted it to clear up as quick as possible and resulted in trying out a few new products. 

One of my favourite products was the Garnier Ultimate Beauty Oil, which is enriched with Argan, Macedonia , Rose and Almond. I sprayed it onto my face which left it a little slippery but after a while it sank into my skin. My skin felt lovely and moisturised with a lovely glow. It also has a lovely soft scent which smells divine . 

This product did the trick and within a couple of days my skin was back to normal.

Estée Lauder-Double wear foundation

 My favorite foundation ever! big statement, I know. I have been using Estée Lauder double wear foundation o and off over two years. I wear the colour Dawn and blend it in with my bourjois foundation in the shade 52 vanille. I am a total addict when it comes to this foundation I always end up going back to it. 

I love this foundation as it literally does stay all day what ever the weather be it raining or hot! I would say it is a build-able coverage and makes your skin look flawless.

I find the colour Dawn on my skin is ideal for summer but can look a little dark through the winter months so I tend to only use a little bit or go a shade lighter. This  product retails at £29.50

Benefit Brow Zings Review

Hey dolls,

For the last year or so I've been loving the look of a dark defined brow. Ive been using the benefit brow zings palette religiously. I often tint my eyebrows myself and then fill them in using this palette. This product includes:

• pigmented wax for shaping
• natural-shred powder for setting
• discreet tweezers 
• hand angle brush
• mirror

A little goes a long way with this product and I often just use the wax alone to create more of a natural look.  I find this is such a good palette for a quick and easy brow look. It in now a staple in my makeup bag. I use the shade light, which is perfect for my complexion. The brushes last a long time which is also a bonus!

 This product retails at £24.50, in my opinion it is 100% worth the money.

I Love Halloween and went to a few parties this year which was so much fun. My favourite part is getting all dressed up and totally transforming into something new, trying out different types of makeup and following tutorials on youtube.

Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Cleanser and Exfoliating Scrub

I wanted to spice up my skincare a bit. My skin has changed over the last couple of months. I have been suffering from a few breakouts especially on my cheeks and forehead. I had read a few reviews online about how Manuka honey can help with breakouts/acne.

About the product-cleanser: Wild Ferns Manuka Honey gentle facial cleanser contains pure active Manuka honey. This cleanser removes my makeup within an instance and doesn't strip the skin from its natural oils.

I really love this range it removes my makeup brilliantly and makes my skin feel squeaky clean and after 1 weeks use my skin looked brighter and flawless.It  really did help with drying up my spots , however I did find my skin  needed a good moisturise after using this product because my skin got quite dry after a long period if use. 

Exfoliating scrub:

I love the Manuka honey exfoliating scrub. I actually like mixing the exfoliation scrub with the cleanser I feel this helps get my makeup off better when wearing heavy makeup for a nightout.

My Summer Holiday 2014

Hey dolls,

I have just arrived back from the most amazing summer holiday! I went with my boyfriend and another couple. We went to the island Kos in Greece. I went for two weeks and relaxed in the sunshine by the pool and beach. I thought I would share some of my holiday snaps with you!

We stayed in Aegean village just outside the party town Kardeminia. Here's me relaxing by the pool.

We rented a car for a couple of days and explored the island. We visited some beautiful beaches.

One day we took the Ferry over to Bodrum in Turkey! There were a lot of bargains to be had!

Este Lauder Free Gift

Hey dolls,

I ran out of my go to foundation double wear and got this cool free gift! 

I love this mascara. It is a really deep black and goes on marviuously without and clumps and not to thick. It really adds lots of length to my lashes. I really like the wand. The main reason I would buy this product in full size is because it added volume to my lashes and it didn't flake or smudge during the day!! 

I love this product it sits so smoothly on my face and feels really refreshing. It makes my complexion glow and overall it is a lovely luxurious product! 

I love his palette it is great for achieving a luscious day look to a glam evening makeup look. The colours are all really pigmented and I think they complement my hazel eyes.

This eyeliner pencil is lovely for adding definition to my lashes it doesn't smudge and is long lasting. I have been using this eye pencil on a daily basis and have been loving it!!

Ciara Daly My Hero Makeup Brush

Hey Dolls, 

On Monday I went to the beauty show In BIrmingham where I picked up lots of bits and bobs. One being this amazing foundation brush. It is super soft and smooth and feels gorgeous as it sweeps over my skin. Before using this brush I used my fingers.... I know naughty me. One thing I find amazing about this makeup brush is that you only need to use a tiny bit of foundation and it goes a long way. There is no secret to this brush just do circular movements and almost buff the foundation lightly into your skin for best results for flawless looking skin.

Benefit Full Glam Ahead!

Hey Dolls,

I was at the till at Boots and this cute Benefit pack caught my eye and for £9.50 I could not resist as I have not tried that many Benefit products I was curious to see what they were like. The kit includes testers of:

• Benefit High Beam complexion enhancer
• Benefit Stay Don't Stray concealer
• Benefit Bad Girl Lash

  I was pleasantly impressed with the high bean complexion enhancer . It makes my skin look super healthy and gives it a lovely dewy look. I applied this on the top of my cheekbones for a glowing makeup look. I have had loads of complainants when i wear it which is a big thumbs up!

I love this product! I think it is AMAZING!!! My eyeshadow stays for long periods of time without creasing and a little bit goes a long way.

I was quite disappointed with the bad gal lash I felt that it made my eyelashes look thick and clumpy and throughout the day it flaked. Boohoo
