Favourite skin care products

Today I thought I would share with you my skincare rountine. I think skincare is so important and goes hand in hand when creating flawless makeup looks.

Simple Foaming Cleanser
I have been using Simple Foaming Cleanser for around 6 months now and I love it. I find a little goes a long way, it doesn't irritate my skin and since using this product I haven't had one breakout.

St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Fighter
This exfoliator is a staple product in my skincare routine. I love the smell and the consistency. I find that it does exactly what it says on the label. Since using this product with Simple Foaming Cleanser my skin has been the best it's ever been. Again I only use a little and I use this product 3-4 times a week.

Simple Facial Toner
I love using this toner to remove the remending traces of makeup. It makes my skin feel very refreshed. I apply to cotton wool and use in circular movements all over my face.

Human + Kind Day and Night Cream

Human + Kind is an amazing company aimed around supporting peoples skin in an ethical way. This product is made from all natural ingredients which refreshes your skin.

Human+Kind All-In-One Day+Night Cream contains 8 active ingredients, the benefits include:

  •   Moisturises and beautifies dehydrated skin
  •   Revitalises, nourishes and rejuvenates
  •   Softens and evens out your skin tone
  •   Helps improve the appearance of damaged skin
  •   Remedies minor skin ailments
  •   Protects against ageing environmental elements

Firstly this is a great all in one product! Brilliant for day and night this cream keeps my skin looking radiant and glowing. I would say this cream is light in consistency and keeps my skin hydrated. It claims to clear blemishes and uneven skin tone.

I love this product, my skin has stayed clear with no breakouts and I haven't had any dry patches of skin either which is a huge plus for me. I was using Simple Skincare Range Moisturiser before this and it used to irritate my eyes and make it sting. As this is a completely natural product with no chemicals or parabens, I haven't had any irritation problems! Big thumbs up from me and I would defiantly recommend anyone to try this product. I think this product would be suitable for any skin type it's GREAT!

Have you tried any Human + Kind products? What did you think?

Self Tan Review- Garnier Ambre Solaire

Self Tanning is a must for me. I am naturally pale skinned and don't like sitting in the sun or using sun-beds. Self tanning is the most easy way to get a tinted glow.  Over the years I have tried lots of self tanning products some good and some bad. Ive tried three Garnier Ambre Solaire products over the past few months and here are my thoughts.

Garnier Ambre Solaire Bronzing Self Tan Tinted Gel 150ml
I love this tan, it is a perfect colour and looks very natural. It has a visible application, this helps me see exactly which parts I have missed or need to go over to get my desired look. This tan isn't streaky and I apply fake tan with a mitt. It has a slight smell but nothing overpowering like some self tans. This tan is quick drying and perfect if you are in a rush or having a spontaneous night out. This product costs £8.99.

Garnier Ambre Solaire Tinted Self Tan Velvety Gel 150ml
This Self Tan is also great. It isn't a visible application, in actual fact it is clear gel. I use the mitt to buff the tan into my skin in circular movements for best results. This tan provides a natural glow perfect for my skin tone . It also feels smooth and silky. This tan does take around three hours to develop. If you desire a darker look you can repeat the process the next day.  I would repurchase this product again. This product cost £10.69

Garnier Ambre Solaire Instant Bronzer Hydrating Gel Natural 150ml
This self tan gives you an instant bronzed look. This was my least favourite self tan product out of all three. The colour was just a tad to dark and I felt it didn't look as natural as the other two. This product was easy to apply and had a visible application. This product washes off with soap and water.  I don't think I would repurchase this product. This self tan costs £7.00.
