October favourites

Today I thought would do a blog post on my favourite products/fashion items that I was loving through October. Firstly where did October go it just flew by and I can't believe it's November already.. Where has this year gone!

Last month I was loving this lipstick from collection 2000 in the shade pink crystal. It is almost like a barbie pink shade and feel it goes great with my skin tone and hair. This lipstick if soft and shimmery. This lipstick cost £2.79 and I think it's amazing for the price. It is good coverage and quite long lasting. Big thumbs up from me.

I love este lauders double wear foundation in the shade tawny. I find it really long lasting and makes my complexion look flawless which is always a massive plus. A bottle lasts me about 3 months which is amazing and I find this very cost effective.
Last month my skin broke out and looked awful, shiny and oily so for the first time I purchased este lauders matte perfecting primer. My first thoughts is that it's very good and defiantly keeps me looking matte for long period of time. Ill keep you updated with this product as it is still early days.

Like I mentioned earlier my skin suffered badly from breakouts last month so I purchased the foaming cleanser from the body shop which was In the tea tree skin clearing range. I find the foaming cleanser really quick and easy but won't be repurchasing this product mainly because I prefer a creamy cleanser that can be used with cotton pads so I can actually tell if my face is squeaky clean.

I love the seaweed pore cleansing exfoliatior. My skin feels so smooth after using it and my face looks radiant.  The little brush is really useful to for getting a intense cleanse.

Due to the change in weather my lips have been quite dry so I bought Vaseline rosy lips this is very hydrating. I also love wearing this over my lipstick for a glossy look.

I bought this pink satchel from river island. I love it I think it's super cute. It has quite a few compartments which is handy. This costs £20.00.

What have been your favourite products of last month?

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

Hey dolls,

Its a quick post from me today. Recently I have been purchasing a lot of different foundations to find anything that is as good as Bourjois's Healthy Mix Foundation. I thought I would give Maybelline fit me foundation a go.

I bought this foundation in the colour Classic Ivory shade 120. This foundation is easily blendable as well as  buildable. This foundation also come with an SPF 15 which is fabulous for protecting my skin in the sun. As I have combination to oily skin, I find after a few hours it does seem to fade and I become very oily looking and in desperate need of some powder. Have you tried this foundation, if so what did you think?

Konjac Sponge

Hey sweets,

As you may know I am crazy for skin care. I decided to give the Konjac sponge a go. I bought the Konjac  sponge charcoal bamboo. The aim of this sponge is to kill acne-causing bacteria. It deep cleans pores which eliminates blackheads.
I've been using this for a few weeks now and my skin has slightly improved, it defiantly is not a miracle worker. The sponge is good and really easy for removing makeup. It also comes with a string which is handy for the shower. I would repurchase this product as it is easy to use and practical. The sponge cost me £6.99 from my local beauty and health shop.

You can purchase the Konjac Sponge from:

Have any of you guys tried any of the Konjac Sponge range?

St Moriz Instant Fake Tan

Hey guys,

I wanted to blog about one of my favourite instant fake tans, St Moriz. I love this tan for many reasons. Firstly the price of this fake tan is incredibly cheap at £1.99 and I purchase it from Home bargains. I find it easy to apply and I don't find the colour to dark. I love applying fake tan for a night out as it makes me feel so much more confident if I have a bit of colour.

I apply the fake tan with a tanning mitt i find this easier and a quick way to apply instant tab. I start my 'tanning process' by exfoiliating in the shower then applying a light body lotion all over and extra moisturiser to dry areas such as the elbows, knees and ankles. It is important to work quickly as this instant tan dries fast, taking care around the hands.

I have never had any streaks with this product and the smell is very light compared to some fake tans I have used in the past. I recommend this fake tan and for the price I think it is a great product to try.

Here's a picture of me wearing St Moriz tan in the shade medium. My dress is from Asos £29.99

Gift Idea

Hey guys

It is my best friend Liv's 20th Birthday next week and I have bought her some cute little gifts. All the products I bought are from Bomb Cosmetics and I purchased the gift box from my local garden centre which is full of pretty little gift items.

Bomb Cosmetics are homemade and Natural. I know that Liv loves a relaxing bath and uses bathbombs. I decided to go for a pink cupcake as I thought it looked cute and girly.

£2.29

I also bought a handmade soap. This soap is like a candy box and reminds me of liquorice allsorts... how sweet is this! This soap contains essential oils which claims to enhance your mood.

£2.49

I also purchased the Bubblegum pop Lip balm which smells of strawberry and cherry. I thought this was super cute and handy to pop into your bag. The lip balms contain shea butter which is amazing for conditioning your lips and giving your lips moisture.

£2.49

Hope you liked this post.

Rimmel Wake me up and Match Perfection foundation

Hey dolls,

I have recently purchased two foundations. Rimmel Wake Me
Up and True Match both in the colour 'True Ivory'

True match is very affordable and gives me light/medium coverage. This foundation is very blendable, however after a while the foundation just runs of my face and make me look super oily which isn't a great look and after a while it goes quite patchy. I do not recommend this product if you have oily skin or acne prone.

Match Perfection £4.99 Boots

I have been wanting to try Rimmels Wake me up foundation for a while, mainly because some of my friends use it and rave about it and not long ago did a I see a review written by beauty guru Tanya Burr. I like this foundation on the whole. It give me medium coverage and is buildable without being to cakey. I am able to apply this foundation flawlessly. However I bought this foundation in the shade and find its a little too dark for me. I don't think I will repurchase either one of these items as they don't beat my favourite bojois healthy mix!

Smokey eye and Red Lip Makeup Look

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to do a make-up tutorial, the look I have chosen is smokey eyes and bright red lip which is a 60's inspired make-up look.  My model for this look is my friend Ceris, she is 20 years f age and study s fashion be sure to check out her fashion blog:
http://cerisbutterworth.blogspot.co.uk
Firstly I have cleansed toned and moisturised my friends skin. I then started applying Este lauder double wear foundation in the colour tawny. I used a models Own foundation brush to apply the foundation evenly . I then used a SBC brand concealer and applied it under the eyes and around the side of the nose. I then added Rimmel Londons Sun bronzer in the shade 022 onto the cheekbones, jawline and to the hairline. When applying the bronzer I used EcoTools bronzer brush. Taking a models own blusher brush I added Vivo baked blush lightly to the apples of Ceris' ' cheeks. For the lips I used Rimmel lipstick Kate Moss edition in the shade 11. I feel that the lips look like they really pop with colour.

Moving onto the eyes I used collection 2000 pallete smokey eyes . Then taking a Ecotools eyeshadow brush i added the lightest colour over the eyelid. I then took the second lightest colour and put it half way across and then finally the darkest colour onto the edge through the crease almost as if drawing a trainange.

Hope you like the overall look
